This navigation tool is used by our officers to receive turn-by-turn voice activated guidance to specified touring and emergency response locations or any other destination. By entering an address or selecting from preprogrammed points of interest with a few touches of the screen, our officers are routed to a customer location in moments.
Each of our patrol vehicles is equipped with this mounted, “military spec" touch-screen computer with wireless connectivity to our Web-based RapidStats and PatrolGuide security software applications. The implementation of this device allows for two-way communications to and from the field to the customer’s operations in a seamless manner.
Upon authorization from our customer, we issue a Violation Notice for any vehicle observed to be improperly parked. A hard-copy original of the ticket is left on the offender’s vehicle, a copy is turned into our customer, and one is retained for our records. Any vehicle observed to be in violation of a customer’s parking policy is issued a Violation Notice. We may also be authorized and required by our customers to tow vehicles from particular sites.
Our signs read "This Area Patrolled by Police and Security Personnel." Posting signage on a customer’s property is just one component of a successful security program. Most of the sites we patrol by foot and vehicle have signs strategically placed throughout the customers’ properties informing visitors, residents and would-be criminals that a security program is in place. It is important for each sign to be clearly labeled and highly visible, and posted in well lit, high traffic areas to assist in deterring criminal activity.
